Exhaustion

It has only been the second day of nursing classes and I am already tired and exhausted. Today I will have night class until 10 pm and then travel 20-30 minutes to get home. I am tired from staring at my textbook and the computer screen to complete my assignment. I wonder if this is the exhaustion and tiredness that nursing students commented about. I wonder if it will get worst. There is so much information to learn and I wonder if I will be able to retain everything and remember everything. It is overwhelming with much to do but little time for anything. The only break so far that I have to myself is taking time to eat other than that there is no time for me to take a glance at my phone nor watch a drama I had started. Well we will see how this weekend plays out.

First day of the Nursing term

Hello! Today is officially the first week of my nursing core, however, my class does not start until tomorrow (Tuesday). So in the mean time, I am catching up on my reading and looking at the courses outline, assignments for this term and reading up on the syllabus. It also contain lots of good advices and tips when doing a phone call to another office, transferring a patient to a different unit and tips on documentation. I really enjoy it which I found surprising since textbook tends to bored me out really fast. Overall I am excited, yet it does feel a bit overwhelming with the amount of assign reading we have to do before the week is over and this does not even includ...

Happy new year! It is finally 2018 and how was time able to fly pass us all in a wink of an eye? 2017 was a good year. My first whole year in California. I can not believe that I have been living here in southern California for a year now. I had done many things this year -- a lot of exploring around southern California. I was able to go to the beautiful beaches, to the zoo in San Diego, to Vegas, but most importantly I was able to accomplish and pass all my classes. I am happy to say that I am starting nursing cord in about 2 weeks. I am feeling a bit nervous and excited. I won't however start clinical until mid February, but it will be here before I know it.   I was able to order all my books for nursing cord and oh my -- there are a lot for just 3 classes. I bet they are heavy textbooks as well. But nevertheless I am excited. My school nursing uniforms are all ready as well. I had to hem my pants because they were too long, but other than that I'm ready to take on what...
