Yesterday was the first day of clinical and it went pretty well. Though at first I wasn't sure what to do, but afterward got the hang of it. I did my first feeding, change the linen and was running back and forth in the office. We also had to write a simple care plan for a patient, which I learn that I should not wait until last minute. Overall, it was a great experience. My body and mind is tired though. I feel so tired that I would love to sleep all day today, however, things needed to be done.

Hello, it has been many weeks since my last entry. I am doing well. Clinical started already this week, however, because of President's Day, my clinical does not start until Monday. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I do hope to improve my knowledge and the skills I had learn in skill labs to be utilize during this clinical rotation. Nevertheless, I have been doing fairly well in my nursing classes. It comes as a surprise for me at how well I have been doing. I believe that having a little bit of medical background does help. Overall, we have a good 5 more weeks before the term comes to an end and another term starts all over again. I am excited to advance a step farther toward my goals and desire to finish this program.

Hi all! So we had our first Fundamental quiz yesterday. I was quiet nervous and was not sure what to expect for the first quiz. My class did not start until 4pm, so I came to school early to study which did not go too well because I was too nervous to concentrate so I gave that up halfway through (don't do that). But nevertheless, we were only allow to miss 4 questions on the quiz or else we would have to hold a conference with the professor to review a study plan to help our grade for the next quiz which is great, however, I was not going to let myself fail my first quiz that I study hard for. So when it was time to take the quiz I had no idea if I had study enough or too much, but as I was going through the questions I felt like I wasn't sure anymore if I knew what I was doing. After the test all our classmates would gather around talking about the questions and as each person talked about their answer choices and why they choose that particular answer.
